Happy New Year to everyone! We hope 2025 brings incredible opportunities and success to all. This year, we’re thrilled to carry forward a tradition we began in 2024: collecting predictions from our team and partners about what lies ahead. This year, we’re excited to continue a tradition we launched in 2024: gathering predictions from our team and partners about the year ahead.
Our goal is to create a yearly snapshot of the expectations and forecasts of entrepreneurs and investors across the region. Over time, this publication aims to become a valuable lens into the evolution of the venture capital ecosystem, the broader economy, and key political and social trends shaping Latin America and beyond.
But we don’t stop at predictions. Accountability is at the heart of what we do, so each year we’ll revisit the forecasts from the previous edition, celebrating the correct ones and reflecting on the misses. This approach not only keeps us grounded but also highlights how rapidly the world—and our industries—can shift.
Without further ado, here are our 2025 predictions across tech, business, politics, sports, and more. Let’s see how our crystal balls fare this time next year!
